3. List Out Benefits Instead Of Features

4. Have An Attention Grabbing Headline–make it tease and intrigue

5. Inject Some Enthusiasm Into Your Ad—load it with customer benefits

6. Be Specific—”increase your income by 250%”

7. Once The Desire Has Been Aroused, Motivate The Reader To Take Action

TIP: If you are not confdent you can write a stunning ad, you can always hire a ghostwriter (yours truly is certainly available), or you can scan through the classified ads websites and ezines and set up a clippings file. You should keep a copy of ads that stop you and create interest, noting what these ads have in common.

Remember, developing stunning ads that sell is an ongoing process requiring constant updating and testing for results.

Starting a home based business is not an easy decision. The attractiveness of lining a life of financial freedom and independence is enticing. Many of us will jump head first into this life altering choice without doing much research. With high expectations and a dream, many are armed with little more than a desire to succeed.

Day to day challenges are a constant, methods of dealing with them are tailored to the situation. Family is a reminder of why you do it in the first place. Weekly and daily goals are meaningless without aggressive prospecting.

You are well aware of the power of relationship building. Distributing fliers, business cards and well placed conversations are the tools you use to market your product and service. However, your efforts don’t seem to bear the results you expect. Your dreams take an unanticipated hit, and you start to lose interest. Doubt sets in and before you know it, you’ve abandoned the one thing that could have brought happiness and financial freedom to you all because of a hurdle you couldn’t clear.

Giving that extra spark to your home based business efforts requires creative marketing and persistence. Dreams are made to come true, but you have to assist them to get them rolling. Here’s an idea, if you offer a product or service that will bring value and benefit to someone, then invite people to your home or your local community center and give them free information about it.

My Executive Director and I have created monthly seminars in which we invite friends over for refreshments and tell them about our home based business. It works. Usually it ends up with us getting around six signups at each ‘party.’ We found that it was an inexpensive way to get our products in front of a receptive audience. How to Create Long Lasting Relationships Through Networking by LaTease Rikard

I received an email the other day from a member of my friends list. This was the first time this friend had ever contacted me, as I had just agreed to add them.

But something made me slightly uncomfortable with our initial contact. My new friend was trying to sell me on the first date. This is clearly a no-no. As a potential customer, I’d like to be given an opportunity to get to know you before you try to get my time and my money. For me leading with the sale is a pure turn off, as it is with many of the people you promote your products and services to.

Try not to lose a valuable contact with poor relationship building skills. It may have taken many months to get to the point where you are now; don’t develop a reputation as a worrisome email blaster who never has anything of value to offer. Just promoting your great product and service without proper networking will yield few results.

One of the things I like to do in my blogs and in this newsletter is to make available free marketing information that will make your home based business flourish. My audience is home based business owners looking for ways to make money or to make more money from home. They are seeking financial independence and control of their lives, so the information I offer creates solutions. It has a value and offers benefits for FREE!

What are you giving away for free these days? Don’t just expect your customer to automatically grasp the value to their lives your product presents.. You must demonstrate to your customer how your product will create solutions for their life. Your product must benefit the customer or no deal to further network with you will exist.

The next time you are in a forum or are on MySpace posting, make sure you follow this simple yet powerful tip, don’t jump out of the box instantly selling. It makes more sense, and is longer lasting to forge relationships and talk to people, not at them.
