I Wish I Would Have Had Some Pepper Spray

Ladies how many of you have known or experienced crime first hand?

I have. As recent as last week I was robbed at gun point. The perp took my purse and my car. Luckily I wasn’t injured.

After it happened and I was able to calm down, I started thinking about taking self defense classes or even having mace or pepper spray on me. In Michigan, mace is illegal for civilians to carry but we can carry pepper spray that is legal for this state. (The ones that look like lipstick are actually pepper spray!)

So, I started checking them out, then I thought about my affiliate program, TBO-Tech.

Looking over some of the Self Defense Products, I know in hindsight I may have just panicked and let the guy get away, but I believe had I been able to get some spray on him or even taser him (yeah, I know I’m not supposed to have that either), I would have felt better. You see, I wanted and still do want revenge.

See, OC, or Pepper Spray, is an inflammatory agent; not an irritant. When someone is sprayed with OC pepper spray, the person’s eyes slam shut. Even if someone does manage to get their eyes open, they won’t be able to see because OC dilates the capillaries and causes temporary blindness. Additionally, instant inflammation of the breathing tissues restricts all but life suport breathing. They double over coughing uncontrollably.

For $16.95 I could have had peace of mind. The effective range on the Wildfire spray is 15-18 feet, which could have easily disabled my attacker.

You can bet it won’t happen the next time.
