Making Your Dreams A Reality

Have you ever had a dream that was so real you could touch it?

Sunset

This is not a sleeping dream, it’s a everyday, awake dream. A dream about making a business or project a success.

For me, it’s my energy drink business. Never have I been so amped up about the potential of a business. I’ve been promoting it on Facebook, Craigslist & Kijjijji this week, and each time I place an ad I get excited! Because I know that as soon as someone responds to my ads and they see how great an opportunity this is, they’ll be just as enthused as I am.

This is my 2nd week of promoting Drink A.C.T. full steam ahead. I’ve been doing lots of reading about the company, and I know it’s going to be hard work. But, as we all know, hard work is always rewarded. In 6 months I will be looking financial freedom in the face.

On Saturday I was on a training call–and I love the A.C.T. training calls because they’re only 20 minutes, but they are so energized. Team members get on the line to help keep you motivated. They share their stories, how they got started, and how they felt when they got their first signups. It’s a thrill I can’t wait to experience, getting my first signup.

The training calls are good for people who are interested in the product, interested in the business, but want to know more before they make the final decision. That’s cool. I recommend sitting in on a call or a meeting just to determine how a company is run. Sometimes you can pick up a vibe when a scam is being presented.

My fears that A.C.T. was a scam was alleviated once I began to search for other dealers on the net. Eric Caprarese was one of the very successful ones I found. Eric is the 1 money maker in the company, not because he is a master salesperson; but because he isn’t a salesperson. Eric knows that in order to be successful yourself, you must first help others become a success.

That’s why Eric regards his downline as his “team” and he helps them by serving as their mentor and a coach. Even the Boston Celtics can tell you how important Doc Rivers’ leadership is to their team. He mentors his players in order to make them winners.

What you’ll love about A.C.T. Energy Drink is you can work from the comfort of your home for as many hours as you want. Trust me, once you start, you’ll enjoy doing it so much, your husband or wife may think you’ve deserted them! The income is another key point. Checks are mailed out every Monday, usually by Thursday or Friday of the same week you should receive it. You can use A.C.T. Energy Drink as immediate income or a long term residual income generator. It depends on what you want to do. Because I want you to understand this business opportunity, I’ve pasted Eric Caprareses’ testimony right here:

Here is Eric’s testimonial, (taken from his personal website):

“Hi, my name is Eric Caprarese and I started with ACT part-time from my one bedroom apartment, while I worked a full time J.O.B. (Just Over Broke) during the day. My motivation ultimately came from desperation of wanting a better life for myself and my kids, and I knew that for things to change, I first had to change.

Twenty four months later, there are days when I earn more money than what I used to earn in an entire month! It’s all because ACT drinks truly sell themselves. This is the first opportunity that I have ever seen where the average person can make an above-average income.

I have people from all around the world who love ACT, and I believe that anyone can achieve the same success that I have. Due to ACT’s fantastic Cash Rewards Program, I was able to move out of that one bedroom apartment and into a new four-story luxury condo.

I was also awarded a new Mercedes Benz for achieving Executive Director, three beautiful Rolex watches, two 32″ flatscreen TVs for my sons, and a brand-new Sony laptop I can take with me when traveling the world! I want to thank ACT for providing a way for me and my boys (along with hundreds of thousands of others) to finally be able to achieve our dreams.”

Eric uploaded last week. In it, he tells how he went from working a job (Just Over Broke) to within 6 months—

Let me tell you, I’m absolutely ecstatic for Ashley because she is a fellow Metro Detroiter! I unsuccessfully tried to gain an interview with her, but I’m sure with all the media attention she is getting, my request got buried with the over 300 emails she receives everyday. However, you can see her on The View Friday, check your TV listings for the correct time.

Right now, I am happy that I’m sharing tips with you, my readers that earned Ashley her million dollars.

In the meantime, keep this in mind, if you want to increase your website/blog traffic: Provide good quality, focused content –> Make your site user friendly –> Give away lots of free stuff that people can use –> And share this information with all your home based business and internet marketing friends.

Seven Often-Missed SEO OpportunitiesBy Donald Nelson (c) 2007

If you have good content and present it in a reasonable way, then you have an excellent chance of achieving good positions insearch engine queries for your main keywords and keywordphrases. You don’t have to resort to any trickery to get yoursite noticed. However, many web designers and web masters failto take advantage of opportunities to get high search enginerankings by mishandling a few crucial components of their webpages. Here is a list of the seven most frequently missedsearch engine optimization opportunities:

1. You’ve Got to Display Your Text as Text!

This sounds elementary, but it is not. Many designers want theirsite to look good and replace headlines with gif images. Theheadlines (or headers) are one of the most important elements onany printed page. If you want to know what a magazine article isall about, then you just have to glance at the headline and thesub-headings to get a good idea. Similarly, search engines placegreat importance on headers, which are usually marked with thehtml codes

or

. If you are selling blue widgetsand want to be found in the search engines by people who makethe query “blue widgets” then you should put these words in atext headline, properly marked, at the top of your page. Some website building programs often render entire paragraphs oftext as images. A person viewing such a page will be able toread it, but a search engine’s robot will not see the text. So,check your web pages, and if vital text is being replaced bygraphic images, then it is better to substitute the images withtext. 2. Put a Good Amount of Text on Your Pages It’s not just headlines that count, body text is also needed. It’s true that a picture is often worth 1000 words, butfollowing this strategy is not good when it comes to searchengine optimization. If your page is about blue widgets, thenan opening headline saying “Get the Best Blue Widgets from theACME Widget Company” is a good start, and a picture of a bluewidget would be OK, but why stop there? People come to the web looking for information. They come tofind a solution to their problem or to find something that willbenefit them in some way. If it takes you a few paragraphs oreven a whole page to explain all the benefits that your widgetsoffer, then by all means add that text to your page. It willhelp your users, and in the process you will be repeating yourkeywords and phrases again which in turn will tell the searchengines that this page is truly about blue widgets. So, moretext is good for search engine recognition and for the end usersalike. 3. Don’t Use the Same Title Tags on All the Pages Title tags are even more important than headlines in letting thesearch engines understand what your web page is all about. Thetitle tag is displayed as the first line of text in the blue rowat the top of the browsing window. The code for the tag is inthe section of the html document and is labeled. Normally you will want your site to rank well for a variety ofphrases and keywords. You can’t stuff all of these keywords andsearch phrases in one headline or in one title tag. It willcause “indigestion” for both your viewers and for the searchengines. A better strategy is to organize your website intodifferent pages, with each page emphasizing a certain aspect ofyour activity. In fact, most websites are built this way. But the problem isthat instead of emphasizing the unique aspect of each particularpage with a properly crafted title tag, many websites repeat thesame tag on all the inner pages. This is truly a missedopportunity to get ranking for a large number of differentkeyword phrases. So, don’t miss this one: make a separate titletag for each of your pages 4. Don’t Try to Do Your Branding in the Title Tag Unless you are already well known it makes no sense to overlyemphasize your company name in the title tag. People are notsearching for the XYWZ MP3 Player Company. They are searchingfor MP3 players. The first words in a title tag are the mostimportant. If you are Coca-Cola, then maybe it makes sense tohave these as the first words, but if you are yet-to-be-famousthen it makes more sense to put your most important keywords andkeyword phrases in the forefront of your title tags. Yourcompany’s logo at the top of the pages can do the branding foryou, but leave the title tag for the more important task ofbeing found in search engine queries. You can consult myprevious article “How to Write Title Tags”,http://www.a1-optimization.com/how-to-write-title-tags.htm , formore suggestions. 5. Your Link Structure Should Be Easy for Search Engines toFollow Even if you have great text and well-written headlines and aunique title tag on each of your pages, it will not do you thatmuch good if all of your pages are not indexed by the searchengines. Normally a search engine robot will visit one of yourpages and then look for more links and if it finds those linksit will visit those pages and add them to the search engine’sdata base or index. If your links are easy to follow then allof your inner pages will end up in the search engine index andwill be displayed when they match queries made by searchers. Some site navigation structures are not search-engine friendly.Links found in java-script, which is used in many drop-downmenus, may not be followed by the robots. Similarly, links onimage maps (particular segments of graphic images) may also bemissed by the robots. The best way to make sure that your links are followed by therobots is to make a simple text navigation menu at the bottom ofyour pages. This kind of navigation bar can supplement your dropdown menu or other navigation system and it has multiplebenefits. It helps the search engines follow the links, and itreminds your users, as they reach the bottom of the page, wherethey can go next. On top of that, it helps you with opportunitynumber 6. 6. Use Your Site’s “Anchor” Text to Your Advantage Just as the title tags and headlines give a good indicationabout the content of your pages, so do the descriptive words inthe internal links on your website. The clickable portion of asite’s text links are known as “anchor text.” Instead of havingall of your anchor text read “Click Here,” find a way to put thewords “mp3 Player,” “Blue Widgets,” “Illinois Real Estate” orwhatever your keywords are in the text links of your site. Once again this works to the advantage of your readers as wellas giving the search engines better information about thecontent of your pages. The more descriptive your text linksare, the better they are for your users. In fact, one of thebest methods of site navigation is to refer to the relevantpages of your site from within the text on your page, linking tothe pages using descriptive keywords. 7. Use Keywords in Your File Names Instead of naming your files as if they didn’t matter, such aspage1.html, page2.html, put your keywords and keyword phrases inyour file names. If you do a search on Google for any particularitem, you will see that wherever your search keyword appears itis listed in the Google results in bold text. Usually you willsee this bold text in the title that is displayed, and in thedescriptive text that Google displays underneath the title. Youwill also see it in the URL. If you already have some of yourkeywords in your domain name, then that is helpful. But even ifyou don’t, you can still make file names such aswww.xyzwcompany/blue-widgets.html . Do the keywords have to be separated by hyphens? Once again ifyou look at Google results you will see keywords in file namesare displayed as bold text even if they are part of a longerstream of text. This is a process known as stemming, where thesearch engine can recognize keywords within longer text blocks.Still, I personally like to use hyphens just to make sure! So, check your web pages and do whatever you can to help bothsearch engines and your end users enjoy and benefit from theircontact with your web pages. Take advantage of these seven SEOopportunities to improve your site’s performance.================================================================Donald Nelson is a search engine optimization specialist.
